Update (June 18, 2014): Over a month after Titanium S1 Plus went on sale in India, Karbonn has officially announced the arrival of the phone. As per a press release issued by the company today, the smartphone carries a price-tag of INR 6,490 but as we had earlier reported, you can get it for as low as INR 5,590 from e-retailers.
Earlier (April 27, 2014): After flooding the sub-INR 6-7,000 market with smartphones with meagre RAM and outdated Android 2.3 OS, the Indian smartphone vendors are finally ready to bring devices, which actually makes sense to buy (at least on paper).
One of such smartphones in Karbonn’s latest Titanium S1 Plus, which is now on sale at IndiaTimes Shopping and Saholic.com for around INR 5,590. Featuring Android 4.3, the smartphone comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor of unknown make, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus also packs dual-SIM support, 3G, 1500 mAh battery, and 4-inch WVGA display. In addition, the company has included FM Radio, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and the usual set of connectivity options on the phone.
The phone is being sold in Black colour option with expected availability of White version soon.
