According to a report in Korean publication Yonhap News, SK Telecom and Samsung are going to unveil an LTE-A enabled variant of Galaxy S5 smartphone on July 19. The phone will feature the Snapdragon 805 SoC, added the publication.
Yonhap news also notes that rest of the specifications of the phone will most likely remain same as Galaxy S5, which comes with 5.1-inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4, and 16MP rear camera.
The smartphone is reportedly going to support the upgraded LTE-A networks, which are capable of up to 225Mbps download speed. As there is still over the month left in the arrival of this smartphone, we could hear more details over the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 display size confirmed (sort of) to be 5.7-inch
In related news, the display size of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 4 smartphone has been confirmed via Indian import data website Zauba.com, which shows the sample units of the smartphone entering the country recently with 5.7-inch display on-board. It is important to note here that we have seen in the past that Samsung tests multiple display sizes, so a single confirmation can’t be taken as final.
