Indian smartphone vendor Karbonn has released a new budget Android phone in Indian market. Dubbed as Karbonn A50s, the phone has been priced at just INR 2,790 and can now be grabbed exclusively from Flipkart.com.

Available in Black and White colour options, the phone features a 3.5-inch HVGA display, Android 4.2.2, and dual-SIM support. A50s is powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek dual-core processor and comes with 256MB of RAM, 512MB of on-board storage, microSD card slot and 1100 mAh battery.

On the imaging front, the smartphone packs a 2MP rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3MP front shooter.

At this pricing, the specifications are quite decent, however the presence of just 256MB of RAM is worrisome. The Karbonn A50s will still be a better option than the feature-phones available at this pricing.
