Sony has introduced the Xperia ZL2 as Xperia Z2a in the Taiwanese market. The Xperia ZL2 was launched on Japanese telecom operator KDDI in May 2014 and will arrive in Taiwan as Z2a.

Sony Xperia Z2a features a 5-inch full HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone also packs microSD card slot, Android 4.4, 3000 mAH battery, 20.7MP rear camera and 2.2MP front camera.

In addition, the smartphone is dust and water resistant and comes with LTE support and the usual set of connectivity options.

Xperia Z2a will go on sale in Taiwan in July 2014. There is no word on the pricing.

Sony has also unveiled the Xperia T3 LTE version in the country, which like Z2a will also go on sale in July.  Xperia T3 features a 5.3-inch HD display, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, Android 4.4 and 2500 mAh battery. The Xperia T3 also packs 8MP rear camera, 1.1 MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
