Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has sent out invites to the tech press for a launch event on June 11, where it will be unveiling the new Find 7 and 7a smartphones for the Indian market. The company has not given any other details but with less than a week to go, we won’t have to wait very long.
First showcased in March at a press event in China, Oppo’s new Find 7 smartphone comes with 5.5-inch 2560x1440p QHD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor, Android 4.3 based Color OS 2.0, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and 3000 mAh battery. The phone also packs 13MP rear camera with software enhancements making it capable of shooting 50MP images, and 5MP front camera.
On other hand, Find 7a includes 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor, 2GB of RAM and Android 4.3-based Color OS 2.0. The phone also packs 16GB of internal storage, 2800 mAh battery, microSD card slot, and 13MP rear camera.
We expect the Oppo Find 7 get a price-tag around INR 40-42K, while Find 7a will most likely retail for around INR 30-32,000. We will have to wait until the June 11 event to get the official pricing.
