LG has reportedly revealed at the unveiling of G3 in Seoul that it is planning to launch the successor to its first curved screen smartphone G Flex as well as the fourth iteration of Vu smartphone. Both LG G Flex 2 and LG Vu 4 will be released in the second half of this year.

No details are available about either of the devices but it is likely that G Flex 2 will be widely available, however LG Vu 4 is expected to remain exclusive to South Korea.

To remind you, LG G Flex, which was introduced last year, includes a 6-inch curved HD display, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and 2.1MP front camera. It is also the first phone from the company to pack a self-healing back cover, which can fix the minor scratches or marks itself.

On the other hand, LG Vu series was originally launched as a competitor to Galaxy Note smartphone but due to the odd screen aspect ratio, it didn’t get very popular with the consumers. It still gets a new smartphone every year in the company’s home market, which comes with a stylus and high-end specifications.
