iBall has silently introduced three new Android smartphones in the Indian market. Part of the company’s Andi line-up, the phones are dubbed as iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger, iBall Andi 4 IPS Gem and iBall Andi 4 IPS Velvet.
While the official pricing of iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger is unconfirmed, iBall Andi 4 IPS Gem and iBall Andi 4 IPS Velvet have been priced at INR 5,699 and INR 5,199 respectively. The phone are slowly reaching the market and can be found in select brick and mortar stores.
Talking about iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger first, the phone features a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 5MP rear camera, front camera, and 1300 mAh battery. The phone also packs 512MB of RAM, Android 4.2.2, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 3G support.
In addition, the IPS Tiger packs dual-SIM support, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Coming to iBall Andi 4 IPS Gem and IPS Velvet, the smartphones include a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 256MB of RAM, and 1300 mAh battery. The phones also come with 2GB of internal storage, 5MP rear camera, front camera, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Andi 4 IPS Gem is a 3G smartphone, while IPS Velvet only comes with 2G Edge support.
iBall Andi 4 IPS Tiger might not have got an official price-tag but an eBay listing suggests that it will carry a price-tag of INR 6,299.
None of the smartphones have any exciting specifications and with the recent launch of Moto E at INR 6,999, it makes no sense to go for these phones instead of Moto E.
