After launching Android 4.4.2-powered Unite 2, Micromax is gearing up to unveil another KitKat-running smartphone in the country. Part of the company’s Canvas series, the new Canvas Engage A091 has appeared online.
Listed on eBay.in, the smartphone carries a price-tag of INR 6,199, however we will wait for the official announcement to get a confirmation on the pricing.
Coming to the specifications, the phone sports a 4-inch WVGA display, 1500 mAh battery, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of RAM and Android 4.4. The phone also packs 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 4GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. In addition, Micromax has included dual-SIM support, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS on the smartphone.
Micromax has also preloaded games like Burn the Rope, Smash It, Marbles as well as apps like Kingsoft Office, Getit, Opera Mini, M! Live, Hike, Mi-Games, Games Club, Reverie phonebook & Smartpad on the Canvas Engage.
It is good to see Micromax bringing finally KitKat running phones in the country, otherwise we have only seen Android 4.2 or 4.3 powered smartphones until this year from the company.
