Chrome and Google+ Android apps updated with new features

Chrome for Android undo tabGoogle has released app updates for two of its properties – Chrome for Android and Google+ for Android. Rolling out now, these app updates will reach the Android users over the next few days.

Talking about Chrome for Android update first, carrying the version number 35.0, the update brings new features like undo tab close. “Just tap the “undo close tab” button that appears at the bottom of your screen. No more stress when you accidentally close a tab,” Chrome team explained in a Google+ post.

Among other changes, Chrome for Android includes full-screen video support with subtitles, HTML5 controls for video playback and more. You can check out the full change-log below.

Coming to the Google+ Android app update, it is a pretty big update and brings host of new features with Auto Awesome Stories being one of the prominent ones. According to Google, you can now combine your photos, videos and the places you visit into beautiful travelogues.

“No more sifting through photos for your best shots, racking your brain for the sights you saw, or letting your videos collect virtual dust. We’ll just gift you a story after you get home. This way you can relive your favorite moments, share them with others, and remember why you traveled in the first place,” noted Anil Sabharwal, Director of Product Management, Google in a blog post.Auto Awesome Stories

In addition, Google+ update includes support for large photo libraries, view-count for content, new navigation menu and more.
