Samsung has started sending out invites to the tech press for a press event on June 12. Set in London, this press event will most likely see the debut of the rumoured Galaxy Tab S tablets, which were leaked recently.

If you need any confirmation for the same, the invite comes with the slogan “Tab into color,” which is pretty big giveaway for it being a tablet-related event. The invite also reveals that whatever new tablets are being announced on June 12, will be released in several colour choices.

As per previous leaks, Samsung is working on two Tab S-series tablets, which will be launched in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch display sizes. These tablets will reportedly feature 2560x1600p display resolution, Exynos 5 octa-core processor, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The tablets will come in 3G/ 4G LTE and Wi-Fi only versions with Android 4.4 on-board. On the design front, the new Tab S will pack Galaxy S5 like dimpled back and front like previous Galaxy tablets.

Samsung is also expected to hold a simultaneous press event in New York, as was indicate in Samsung mobile chief J K Shin in an interview with WSJ. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube as well.
