Moto X+1 spotted on Moto Maker website

Moto X+1Looks like @evleaks was right about the branding of the Moto X successor. The Moto X+1 name was today spotted on the Motorola’s phone customisation store Moto Maker in a placeholder page, which will go live after the official announcement.

The leak not only confirms the branding of the phone but also reveals that Moto X+1 will indeed get the customisation options like its predecessor. @evleaks has already revealed that the custom back-cover options for the phone will include leather backs in black, red, grey and blue colours as well as wood backs and several coloured plastic backs.

While most of the details about Moto X+1 are still a mystery,  a recent leak had suggested that the phone will come with 5.2-inch full HD display, Android 4.4.3, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.  The phone will also reportedly come with 32GB of internal storage, 12MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, NFC, pedometer and the usual connectivity options.

There is no word of the launch of the phone right now, however Motorola is hosting a press event on May 13, where we expect to hear something about the release of Moto X+1.

  1. Why Motorola is leaving the Selfie(front camera) to 2MP only? A 5mp would have been decent and off-course with 4g lte and a good battery. I hope Motorola will consider the options.
