If you were wondering how Amazon’s upcoming smartphone might look like, the above render should give you a fair idea. As is clearly visible, Amazon has taken design cues from Google Nexus 4 and Apple’s iPhone 5S for the smartphone.
Although there is nothing extra-special about the design, it still looks quite decent. Volume rocker, power button and SIM card slot are visible on the left side of the phone, with microUSB 2.0 port and speaker present on the bottom. Right-side is clean, so the 3.5mm audio jack is probably present on the top.
Amazon is also including a home button like Samsung devices on the phone. Two of the supposed five cameras present on front of the smartphone can also be seen as well as the rear camera along with LED flash on the back.
Expected to be launched in Q3, the Amazon smartphone is rumoured to come with 720p HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and Android with Amazon’s software customisation. The phone will also come with four infrared cameras for tracking user’s eye and face movement as well as front and rear cameras for imaging.
