An unannounced Acer Iconia-series tablet has appeared on Amazon Germany and Acer Retailers website, which might be unveiled on April 29 in New York. Dubbed as Acer Iconia B1-730, the tablet seems to be a cousin of the company’s previously launched B1-720 Android tablet.
The specifications of the tablet are unconfirmed at this point as the ones present of Amazon Germany listing seem to be wrong, which is not surprising given it is a premature listing. German blog Mobile Geeks however is reporting that Iconia B1-730 will pack a 7-inch HD display, 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor, Jelly Bean, 5MP rear camera and 3700 mAh battery. In addition, the tablet will reportedly come with 1GB of RAM, 8/ 16GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.
Acer is hosting a press event in New York on April 29, where we expect to see the announcement of B1-730, which is likely to be the new budget tablet segment champion from the company. The official pricing is a mystery right now but Amazon Germany listing suggests that the tablet will retail for 139 euros in Europe.
