Samsung brings KitKat running Galaxy Ace Style to Germany

Samsung Galaxy Ace StyleSamsung is showcasing a new budget Android smartphone called Galaxy Ace Style in Germany. The phone, which packs low-end specifications, is most probably the company’s first entry-level phone with Android 4.4.2 on-board.  KitKat seems to have finally started to reach the segment, where Google really wants it to be.

According to a report in netzwelt.de, the Galaxy Ace Style features a 4-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 4GB of internal storage. The phone is expected to be released in both single-SIM as well as dual-SIM versions. Other specifications of the phone are unknown at this point and will become clear once the phone is official.

There is no word on when Samsung plans to announce this smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 series prices revealed by Dutch retailer

In related news, the first prices of Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy Tab 4-series tablets have appeared. According to Dutch retailer Tabletcenter, the Wi-Fi-only 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch Tab 4 devices will sell for €199.99, €269.99 and €349.99 respectively, however the LTE versions of 8-inch and 10.1-inch tablets will set you back €349.99 and €469.99 respectively.

The retailer is currently taking pre-orders but there is no word on the release date right now, which will most likely be in May or June.
