After the images over the weekend, the specifications of Sony D6503 have leaked online. According to Xperia Blog, the phone features a 5.2-inch full HD display and 2.3GHz Qualcomm MSM8974AB SoC. This confirms that Sony D6503 is indeed the rumoured Sirius smartphone, which is expected to be officially announced at Mobile World Congress next month.Sony Sirius

Among other specs, Sirius will come with 3GB of RAM, 20.7MP rear camera with G Lens, and 2.1MP front camera. Don’t get confused with 4.86-inch size mentioned in the screenshot as it doesn’t count the area used by virtual buttons.

XDA member iRimas has also shared some screenshots of the user interface, which might be changed over the days leading up the announcement as the prototype is running on Android 4.3, while the phone is expected to launch with KitKat.

Looks like Sony will be pitching Sirius against the likes of Galaxy S5, HTC M8 and other flagship models. It will most probably be the company’s leading smartphone for the first half of 2014.
