While we had heard rumours of the early-2014 launch of Galaxy Gear successor, we weren’t too hopeful about it but now it is looking more likely than ever.

Samsung UK today tweeted an image teasing the successor of Galaxy Gear (or probably a new wearable?). If the company is not planning to announce something very soon, there is no point teasing it, so we are hoping see a Galaxy Gear successor or a totally new wearable device from the company at CES in the coming week.
No details are available at this point but we have seen a trademark filing for Samsung Sport name from the company, which could be the new device that Samsung UK is indicating in its teaser. If real, Samsung Sport might be Samsung’s answer to Nike Fuelband, FitBit and other similar devices.
A recent leak from evleaks has already showed us LG’s competitor to Fuelband and FitBit – LG Lifeband Touch. Well, now if everone is jumping in the fitness wearables market, how can Samsung be left behind. We will know pretty soon.
