Amazon has announced that it is offering a discount of $50 on 7-inch Kindle Fire HD (2^nd generation) and Kindle Fire HDX tablets on the occasion of Cyber Monday. The tablet can now be grabbed from Amazon.com starting $119 (Fire HD) and $179 (Fire HDX). These deals are available while supplies last.

To remind you, the Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch tablet features a 1920 x 1200p display, quad-core 2.2 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and Fire OS 3.1 (based on Android 4.2.2). The tablet also comes with software features like X-Ray for Music, Second Screen, Prime Instant Video downloads, and Mayday button.

On the other hand, Fire HD comes with 1280 x 800p display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Fire OS 3.1 and Wi-Fi support. It also comes with same software tweaks that are present in Fire HDX.
