After Motorola began taking pre-orders for Moto G in the United States at Motorola.com, the phone has now appeared on Amazon.com. Selling at the same price of $179 for 8GB and $199 for 16GB, Moto G shipments from Amazon will start on December 4, which is two days later than the Motorola.com.
While Motorola.com is selling both Global GSM and US GSM versions of Moto G, only Global GSM version is available from Amazon.com, which supports – GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), UMTS/HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz) frequencies.
To remind you, Moto G features a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.3. The phone also comes with 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, and the usual connectivity options.
Update: Amazon has updated its Moto G listing to add the US GSM version and change the shipping date of Global GSM version to December 11. US GSM version ships on December 4.
