Waze IncidentsGoogle has announced that Waze Incidents are now available in 46 new countries and regions in Google Maps on both mobile and desktop. This is the first expansion of Waze incident reports since they were first included in Google Maps less than three months ago.

Waze Incidents will now be visible in a total of 57 countries worldwide (including the 13 countries where the feature was available since day one of Waze integration in Maps).

The names of the new 46 countries are not known right now but we think all major markets would have gotten the feature and the rest of the countries will get it in the future expansions.

How does this work?

When Wazers (Waze users) report accidents, construction, road closures and more on Waze, the updates also appear on the Google Maps app for Android, iOS, and Desktop versions. You can then tap on the particular incidents in the Google Maps to get more information.
