Android 4.3 coming to Xperia Z-series smartphones and Xperia Tablet Z next month

Sony has announced that it will begin the roll-out of Android 4.3 update for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 devices next month. The company is not skipping Android 4.3 update as some rumours indicated earlier today.

The company has stated that it will be skipping Android 4.2 update for Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V smartphones and will be taking them directly to Android Jelly Bean 4.3. The Android 4.3 update for these smartphone will also start next month.

Xperia Z, ZL, Z Ultra, Z1 and Tablet Z to get Android 4.4 update: Sony

Talking about Android 4.4 updates now, Sony has revealed in that it will be updating Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1 and Xperia Tablet Z devices to Android 4.4. The company has not given the update release time-frame.

There are no other details available at this point but we should be hearing more in the coming weeks.
