Amazon has announced that it is starting pre-orders for refreshed Kindle Fire HD tablet in UK and Canada. The tablet will start shipping on October 24 in both countries.

The refreshed Kindle Fire HD comes with a new look and updated Fire OS 3.0. The specifications are same as the Kindle Fire HD (2012), which include 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch 1280x800p display, 8/ 16GB of storage, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Audio.

Other specifications include Wi-Fi support, and software tweaks like X-Ray for films and TV, Quiet Time, and Quick Switch.

In UK: £119.00 (8GB), £139.00 (16GB), extra for ‘without special offers’ version
