It was just a few weeks ago that we hardly had any idea about Nexus 5 and now the leaks are coming from almost everywhere. After being spotted on FCC two times, appearing in official Google video and even getting sighted in a bar, the Nexus 5 is back and this time it has found its way to GFXBench.
The GFXBench listing confirms some previously rumoured details about the phone including the presence of 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 1080p display and Android 4.4.
We already know that Nexus 5 will pack 5-inch display (4.96 to be exact), 4G LTE with support for as much as 8 bands, NFC, wireless changing, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, 2300 mAh battery and Bluetooth 4.0.
In related news, Nexus 5 has also appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance site, which has revealed that the phone will come with dual-band Wi-Fi (2.5GHz, 5GHz).
There is still no official word on the release date of Nexus 5; however there have been some rumours that suggest October 14 announcement. We are actively tracking all the developments regarding Nexus 5 and will let you guys know if anything new pops up.
I hope there is some heavy sw hw optimization else I think the 2300mah battery will end up being the achilles heel of the nexus 5….

I agree. That battery seems way too little to power the other hardware.

Hmm…. Why does it say Key Lime Pie? I thought it should have been KitKat, that’s really interesting

This is fake. It says keylimepie. The next version is going to be called KitKat

Google most likely changed the name last minute to KitKat. That is what multiple sources have been saying the past 2 weeks.

they usually avoid sending the final build of the OS during these tests to avoid leaks like the one that happened at the bar..
this is the real deal but the results cant be considered as the performance may vary with kitkat..
