As you would know, Amazon is expected to launch its next-generation Kindle Fire HD tablets in the coming weeks. The specifications of these tablets have already been revealed in detail but there were no images until now. Tech blog BGR has published the first images of seven-inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD (2013) today, which show the revamped design and other changes.
Some parts of these images have been blacked out to hide the identifiable marks. While the images of only seven-inch tablet have been leaked, the 8.9-inch version has been said to be coming with the same design, just larger.
As is visible in these images, Amazon has opted for a more angular design and speakers have been moved to the top of the tablet from the bottom in the earlier versions.
To remind you, Amazon’s next-generation Kindle Fire HD tablet will come with 7-inch 1920x1200p resolution display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 based custom OS, Wi-Fi and optional 3G/ LTE support. The tablets will be released in 16, 32 and 64GB memory variants. The pricing is still a secret and so is exact launch date, but we hope to from the company around the end of this month.
