HTC’s President of Global Sales Jason Mackenzie has tweeted that his company is planning to push Android 4.3 update for all HTC One variants in US and Canada by September-end. This comes just a day after he replied to a HTC One dev edition user that Android 4.2.2 is a minor update and his phone will directly get updated to 4.3.

With Jason’s latest tweet, we now know that all HTC One variants in US and Canada will directly be jumping to Android 4.3 (apart from Verizon version, which launches with 4.2.2 on-board).

Same is not the case with other regions like Asia and Europe, where HTC has released Android 4.2.2 update for One, so the timeline for 4.3 update is expected to different from US and Canada.

Mackenzie has also noted that Droid DNA (a variant of HTC Butterfly) will be getting the same treatment and will skip Android 4.2.2 update for 4.3. DNA will also be getting updated to Android 4.3 by September-end.
