LG LogoWe have known for a while that LG is getting back in the tablet market but the details about its upcoming tablet have largely been a mystery. Now, thanks to Techblog.gr, we have fair idea of what to expect from this tablet.

The blog notes that LG’s upcoming tablet will be dubbed as LG G Pad and will sport a 8.3-inch 1920x1200p resolution IPS display. Among other specifications, the tablet will be powered by a quad-core processor. It will also come with 2GB of RAM.

Techblog.gr notes that it is going to be a very thin device with even smaller bezels. It won’t support voice-calling and will come with aluminium back.

LG G Pad is expected to be unveiled at IFA trade fair next month and it will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and the upcoming Apple iPad Mini.
