Moto XAn alleged image of Motorola’s upcoming Android smartphone Moto X has appeared online. Said to be carrying model number XT1056, the phone in the image is reportedly the Sprint variant of Moto X.

Currently undergoing testing on Sprint’s 4G LTE network, Moto X seems to be running on vanilla Android.

While, Motorola has officially announced Moto X, hardly anything is known about the phone. A recent leak did reveal some of the specifications of the phone but nothing has been confirmed. As per this leak, Moto X will come with d 4.7-inches 720p display, 1.7 GHz Snapdragon processor, 2 GB of RAM, 10MP rear camera and 16 GB of internal memory.

Some of the recently spotted advertising pitches had suggested a release date of August 1, but the date can very well be a placeholder.  We are keeping an eye of any development on Moto X front and will update the story if something new pops up.
