Huawei Ascend MateUpdate: The listing has been removed…

Huawei’s Android-powered phablet Ascend Mate is now available in the Indian market. It is currently selling at online retailer Infibeam for INR 28,900. For a device packing some decent specifications, this pricing is quite good.

Huawei Ascend Mate features 6.1-inch 720p display, Android 4.1, 1.5GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor and 2GB of RAM. The phablet also comes with 8MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, and 4050 mAh battery.

Among other details, Huawei has included proprietary Quick Power Control (QPC) and Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) battery efficiency technology on Ascend Mate for better standby times.

Originally announced at Consumer Electronics Show earlier this year, Ascend Mate is clearly not meant for everyone and it would only suit those of you looking for a giant smartphone that can also work as a small tablet.
