More details have been uncovered regarding the HTC’s upcoming Butterfly S smartphone. Set to be announced on June 19 in Taiwan, HTC Butterfly S is going to pack only 16GB of internal storage and there will be no other storage variant, reports Focus Taiwan.
A company source has apparently confirmed the storage limitation to the website. Also, considering the lack of expansion slot in original HTC Butterfly and the company flagship HTC One, we highly doubt if Butterfly S is also going to come with any microSD card slot.
Given the fact that around 35-40pc of the internal storage is taken by the software (Android + HTC Sense), consumers are going to be disappointed with the phone. With some Android games requiring over 1GB of storage, 8-10GB of internal storage is nothing for heavy users.
The report also states that the company is aiming the phone at high-end users with a pricing around NT$20,000 (US$670).
The report does not reveal any other specifications of the phone but as per previous rumours, the phone is expected to come with 5-inch 1080p display.
