After Samsung Galaxy Own Now, the company has begun a new trade-in program for Galaxy Note II. Samsung is now offering an INR 10,000 discount on INR 37,500 price-tag of Galaxy Note II, if consumers trade-in their old smartphone.

The offer is only valid for select smartphone trade-ins, so you will have to visit your nearest retailer offering Samsung Smart Upgrade, to see if you are eligible.

This is not all; the company is also offering a further 6 month EMI without any processing fee on Galaxy Note II discounted price. So, if you are eligible for the discount and want to opt in for the EMI, you will have to pay just INR 4,584 for the next six months.

It is increasingly becoming common for the mobile phone makers to offer such schemes to entice the consumers to buy high-end smartphones that are increasingly becoming out of the reach for them thanks to over INR 30K price-tag.

It is important to note here that there is always some fine-print with such schemes, so before you run off to your retailer, do check out everything.

  • Micromax: Canvas Series; A110; A75; A100; A87Ninja4; A73
  • Karbonn: A9; A21

Update II:  The offer is no live on Flipkart too, the site will be give you INR 5,000 discount at the time of purchasing Galaxy Note, and when the trade-in device reaches them, then will further refund INR 5,000.

  2. How about Nexus S for exchange? This is also a samsung device. So will i be eligible for the discount. Though its not a Galaxy brand.
