LG Optimus G2 to feature 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 & LTE-A: Report

LG phoneNew reports originating from South Korea indicate that LG Optimus G2 will be arriving with a 5.2-inch display instead of 5-inch or 5.5-inch. The smartphone, which is expected to be announced in August this year, will be packing support for LTE-Advanced, which supports download speeds up to 150 Mbps.

LG Optimus G2 will also be coming with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and will probably be the first commercial device with this SoC. Other rumoured specifications of the phone include 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, and Zerogap Touch display like its predecessor Optimus G.

We have already seen some alleged images of the Optimus G2, which suggest that the phone will have virtual Android keys like Nexus 4.  Some previous reports have also suggested that the phone is going to be so-thin that it will house volume rocker and other keys, which are traditionally located on the side of the phone, on the back.
