Micromax A111 Canvas DoodleThe rumoured Micromax A111 smartphone is confirmed now. The phone has appeared on e-retailer Snapdeal with a price tag of INR 12,999 and Canvas Doodle branding. The company might not have officially announced the phone till now, but it is already selling on the site.

Micromax A111 Canvas Doodle leaked specs were spot on. The phone features a 5.3-inch capacitive display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8225Q quad-core processor and 8MP rear camera. The phone runs on Android 4.1.2 and comes with 2100 mAh battery.

As we can see in the promo image, Micromax is probably bundling a stylus as well with the phone, although we don’t see a slot in the phone to put it, so users will probably have to carry it separately.

The phone will join the company’s growing Canvas-series of smartphones, which now include devices like A110, A100 (discontinued), A101, A115, and A116.

We expect to see an officially announcement marking the release of A111 in India soon and we will let you know when that happens, not that it matters much now.

  1. The picture shown above has capacitive buttons as well as on-screen buttons. This shows how much attention micromax gives to their products and its details.I really doubt the persons at micromax has ever given a second look to this product.

    1. That is for tablet mode which you can enable if you have bigger screen. On-screen buttons are useful when you use keyboard/mouse to control the screen when your phone/tablet is connected to TV or bigger screen display using HDMI.

  2. 512 MB Ram?
    Seriously Mr. Micromax?
Decrease screen size to 4.7 and Ram to 1GB then It will become Perfect Phone!
