Facebook HomeFacebook has announced that its Android launcher Facebook Home has been downloaded almost 1 million times since the launch. The company did not share any information about the active users, but given the ratings on Google Play, we think it is going to be pretty low.

The social giant also revealed that installation of Facebook Home has led 25 percent greater engagement among its users.

In related news, Facebook has silently started allows more device users to gain access to Facebook Home despite the lack of official support. Now, users with Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia ZL (probably Z too) will be able to use Facebook Home after accepting a warning message.

To remind you, Facebook Home is currently officially supported only on HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II and HTC One.
