Sony Xperia SP now on sale in India for INR 25,490

Sony’s recently launched Xperia SP smartphone is now available in the country. This mid-range smartphone is now being sold at brick-and-mortar stores as well as Infibeam.com online. Flipkart is currently taking pre-orders but should start getting stocks in the next one or two days.

Sony Xperia SP is being sold for INR 25,490, which is about INR 2K less than the MRP mentioned by Sony. Talking about the features of the smartphone, Xperia SP is the first Sony phone to come with built-in support for wireless Dualshock 3 controller.

Sony Xperia SP runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It sports a 4.6-inch 720p HD display and is powered by 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 dual-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU.  Among other features, Sony has included NFC, GPS with Glonass, and the usual connectivity options.

On the imaging front, Sony Xperia SP comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and VGA front camera. In addition, the phone features 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage, and microSD card slot that support up to 32GB.

Sony Xperia SP also comes pre-loaded with ‘Sony Music’ music-streaming app with six months of free unlimited music streaming, as well as ‘Sony LIV’ video streaming app.

@gaurav – its not aboout promoting infibeam but they rae offering it at lowest price i guess. Whereas at flipkart its showing pre-order at price of 25,990 with case + 16gb d card and another online store snapdeal also offering xperia sp at 24,990 but no offers.
