Samsung India has finally started rolling out Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S Advance smartphone in India. The update is now available via Kies app on PC and Mac, the OTA roll-out should begin in a few days.
Similar to all Samsung software updates, it is also being released in batches, so not everyone will get it right-away, but it should reach your device in the matter of days.
Samsung Galaxy S Advance is a pretty popular mid-range smartphone and it was originally launched with Android 2.3 on-board, with this update, Galaxy S Advance users will have access to Google Now and a host of new features.
Some of the changes that you can expect to see in this update are user interface improvements, enhanced notifications, better widget support, project butter performance improvements and a lot more.

I have flashed that update…I have also flashed the previous russia JB update..this one is better than the russian one. The phone is on bit of slower side for some core applications.Dialler, Gallery , Camera. Samsung have to slim down the update.In Benchmarks and all, it showed increase in it’s CPU power,but the OS takes more RAM and thus making the device lag whenever a notification comes up while playing Games. Guys, if u need the phone to be stable and fast, it’s better to stay away from this update. Samsung might solve the performance glitches in the forthcoming updates.

Hi, I have upgraded my S Advance to JB 4.1.2 baseband ver – I9070DDULP8 through Kies. Battery life improved. RAM improved. Earlier it was 555mb available. Now it shows 625mb. Project butter really smooth. Better widget and notifications. Games like Temple Run2 used to get stuck earlier. Had to clear memory before playing. Now it works smoothly even without clearing RAM. Apart from that minor changes in interface.
Other please share experience.
