Almost two months after we spotted the Karbonn Smart A12 phone online, the phone has been officially launched by the company. We are not really sure why it took the company so long to issue a press release.

Anyways, to refresh your memory, Karbonn Smart A12 is powered by Broadcom’s 1GHz Cortex A9 processor. According to a press release issued by the company, the Karbonn Smart A12 will be sold for INR 7,990. Karbonn A12 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It sports a 4.5-inch capacitive qHD display. Other features of the phone include 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, front camera, and the usual set of connectivity options.
