As we reported earlier, Samsung is planning to introduce Galaxy Mega series of Android phones (or should I say tablets) this year. Now, the alleged specs of two of the upcoming Mega devices – Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 have appeared online.
SamMobile notes that Galaxy Mega 5.8 will come with a 5.8-inch qHD display. The device will be powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. In addition, the phone will also come with 1.5GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega GT-I9152 will also pack dual-SIM connectivity, and 2600 mAh battery.
On the other hand, ET News is reporting that Galaxy Mega 6.3 will also be powered by a dual-core Exynos processor. As the name suggests, the device will have a 6.3-inch LCD of unknown resolution. Among other features, we will get 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera.
Both the devices are also expected to come with the usual set of connectivity options and Android 4.2 on-board. Other features of the Galaxy Mega devices are not clear right now.
ET News also adds that new Galaxy Mega devices are expected to be announced around June-July.
