  1. Hey Mohit,
I have that i9100 model , So is it available to us to download the new version?
Does it requires our phone to be connected to PC, or it will be downloaded and installed just like any android app.

    1. Hi Vishal,

Currently it is available only via KIES (PC Suite for Samsung) ; No OTA (Over The Air) available as yet.

  2. I flashed “i9100XWLSD” and have been using it for some time now.
This “i9100XWLSK” will be different from it? hmm..

BTW, official jelly bean on S2 is really nice, go for it! Don’t even feel the need for any custom rom with it.
Especially love the smart stay feature.

  3. This update is not working through Kies. Something is wrong. After downloading some files, it keeps crashing. Thought of taking it to service center tomorrow. Same issue for anyone?

I might have tried 10 times in different systems.

  4. what is the size of the update…?
    i have 700 mb 3G data left….
    isthat sufficient..?

    1. Hi Hagimaru,

Try to get it install via KIES only, as any file missing during OTA could result in failure of upgrade and you will loose your costly 3G as well.

      1. I done it through over the air update, it performed well installed and using it…

      1. very bad , samsung is giving multi window feature in non-flagship budget phablet
galaxy grand then why not to hugely successful galaxy S2

  5. i dont know if this update is draining my battery only or other people are suffering too..i am losing more than 5% of battery every hour just on standby i.e no usage at all

  6. i have updated my phon but the jelly bean stock video player is missing any1 facing this problem??

  7. Shame on Samsung for not providing Jelly Bean update in India to its Galaxy S II GT-I9100G
