Lava’s second IRIS branded 5-inch smartphone IRIS 502 is now available in India. Priced at INR 8,499, it can be purchased from Saholic.com. Powered by Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, the smartphone comes with dual-SIM functionality.
Lava IRIS 502 features 5-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor, 5MP rear camera, and VGA front camera. The phone also packs 512MB RAM, 2GB of usable internal storage, microSD card slot, and 2000 mAh battery.
The smartphone will compete with Swipe’s recently launched Fablet F2 and Karbonn Smart A111 smartphones.
Surprisingly, IRIS 502 has only the Jelly Bean presence and INR 500 difference as the advantage over IRIS 501 smartphone, which comes with a dual-core processor instead of single-core in 502. It is up to users to choose whether they want dual-core processor or Jelly Bean, while deciding between IRIS 502 and IRIS 501.
