Samsung recently announced new Garnet Red colour option for Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE tablet in the South Korea, and interestingly a new Note series tablet was spotted on background of promo images posted by the company for Note 10.1 LTE.

The device in the background looks awfully similar to the leaked images of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet. The device is clearly not something that is already in the market, as we can see both the on-screen buttons and home-button (home-button was seen in previous leaks of Note 8.0).

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress, which begins February 25. The tablet is rumoured to feature 1.6GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor, 2GB RAM, Jelly Bean and 8-inch 1280×800 display. It is expected to be priced around $249-$299, making it a competitor to iPad Mini.

There is no way to confirm that whether that tablet in the background is indeed Note 8.0 and we will have to wait until MWC to get a real look at the device.

  1. Thanks for your Samsung phablet article. I wish Samsung would add a bluetooth detachable ear piece phone on their phablets. One that is ready to use upon detachment and is placed within the contour shape of the phablet body.
