Just hours ago we were wondering about what was LG going to unveil at the Mobile World Congress and here is our answer. The Korean manufacturer is likely to announce a Samsung Galaxy Note II competitor in the form of LG Optimus G Pro (yes, this is different from the Japanese Optimus G Pro) at MWC 2013 later this month.
Company has already started teasing us about the phone (like this video teaser) as we get closer to this biggest mobile industry event. According to a report on Phonearena, LG Optimus G Pro will come with a 5.5-inch full HD AH-IPS display, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card slot, 2GB RAM, Jelly Bean and 1.7GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor. The phone is also expected to feature 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, 3140 mAh battery and the usual connectivity options include NFC.
The phone will also be competing with HTC’s Butterfly, Sony Xperia Z, Huawei Ascend D2 smartphones.
Until we wait for LG Optimus G2, G Pro is likely to be the company flagship smartphone. LG will also be announcing a new smartphone series – ‘F’ at the event, which is most likely to feature mid-range smartphones.
thats great news….LG phone will be much more competively priced then other phones like butterfly which costs a bomb.
