S Mobility is getting ready to launch yet another Android smartphone in its Stellar series. Dubbed as Stellar Virtuoso, the smartphone will come with a 4.5-inch qHD IPS panel and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Virtuoso Mi-495 features 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1GHz dual-core processor, and 1700 mAh battery. There is also a VGA front camera and the usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The smartphones does not seem that different from other budget offering the market from iBall, Karbonn or even Lava. A lot will depend on how Spice prices the handset. Big screen budget smartphone segment is still being dominated by Micromax’s Canvas 2 A110, and other companies would need to bring better devices at lower price-points to compete with it.
