A new set of specifications emerging from China suggest that Sony is planning to launch a specs-monster in the form of Xperia Yuga.  If true, which seems highly unlikely, Sony will really leave a mark in smartphone market with C660X Yuga.

According to post in IT168 forums, Sony Xperia Yuga will come with Samsung Exynos 5 Quad processor, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 5″ OLED display with 1080p resolution, 128GB of internal storage and 3000 mAh battery. Sony has also thrown in water/dust resistance as well as an IR port.

So, after looking these, don’t you think these look too good to be true. There is no way to confirm these, so take them with a pinch (or more than that) of salt.

A separate report adds that Sony might be planning to put glass back on the phone including the front, same as Nexus 4.

We will have to wait for more leaks for get a clearer picture about the phone, which is expected to be announced at CES 2013.
