Till now we have seen two variants of HTC’s 5-inch 1080p phone, one J Butterfly for Japan and other Droid DNA for US, now a new variant has emerged, which will be released in Asia.

The final branding is not clear at this point, but the latest report from Taiwan suggests that HTC DLX Asian version might be launched in China on December 6 followed by Taiwan on December 11. There is still no clarity on the release in India, Singapore or other Asian countries.

The report further adds that the Asian version will be sold in three colour variants – Black, White and  Brown, out of which – China will only get Black and Brown colours. Also the red colour showcased with J Butterfly will no reach other Asian countries.

The Asian version is likely to carry the same basic specs – 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, and Android 4.1.

HTC is officially launching the US version on Nov 20; we expect to see some details about European launch from the event.
