In line with several previous rumours and leaks, The Next Web is reporting that Google is planning to launch LG Nexus 4, 32GB Asus Nexus 7 Wi-Fi, 32GB Asus Nexus 7 3G, Samsung Nexus 10 and Android 4.2 at the upcoming October 29 press event.

What seems to be a huge launch line-up for October 29, goes very well with the tag line of the event – The Playground is Open, suggesting Google is laying out all the of its arsenal by launching multiple Nexus devices, to compete with upcoming revamped iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone 5, Windows Phone 8 devices and Microsoft Surface tablet.

The holiday season is going to be very interesting from the technology standpoint.

Samsung Nexus 10

The Next Web’s source has confirmed that a Samsung built 10-inch Nexus tablet is indeed in works and it will come with 2560×1600p resolution display and Android 4.2, as rumoured earlier. The tablet is codenamed Manta, and will go by the name of Nexus 10, as was found in the EXIF data of some photographs posted by a Samsung employee on Picasa.

32GB Nexus 7 Wi-Fi only, 32GB Nexus 7 3G

Retail store appearances and leaks, the 32GB version of Nexus 7 is more than official now, but the not-so-confirmed 3G version of the tablet is also making its debut on the October 29 Google event, report TNW. This 3G version will have HSPA+ connectivity and rest of the specifications are going to remain same.

LG Nexus 4

Unless you were living in a cave, we know pretty much everything about the upcoming LG Nexus phone apart from its pricing and market availability. The smartphone will come with 4.7-inch 1280x768p display, 2GB RAM, 8/16GB storage, 8MPrear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2100mAh battery and Android 4.2. It is reportedly based on LG’s Optimus G.

Android 4.2

Apart from few tidbits, not much is known about Android 4.2, TNW is stating that Android 4.2 will come with something called ‘Content in the center,’ which will allow users to access Play Store content from a widget, and ‘Tablet Sharing’, which will suit families and enterprise users, providing them with a simple and easy to switch between several users on a tablet.

We are eagerly waiting for the event to see all this get official, but till then we will remain cautious, considering the recent fakes and made-up rumours.
