Asus launches Transformer Pad TF300TG in India for INR 43,999

asus-transformer-pad-tf300tgAlong with PadFone, Asus has also announced the launch of Transfomer PAD TF300TG in the country today at a press event in Bangalore. The tablet has been priced at INR 43,999 and comes with keyboard dock in the box.

“ASUS is characterized by the courage to innovate. We combine this intention with state of the art technology in the constant pursuit of providing an incredible user experience. The ASUS Transformer Pad distinguishes itself from other products in this segment in terms of its versatility. Our new offerings are intelligently fusing technologies to meet the demands of our existing and prospective customers,” said Mr. Alex Huang, Managing Director, Systems Business Group, ASUS India Pvt Ltd, in a statement.

Asus Transfomer Pad TF300TG features 10.1-inch display with WXGA resolution, Android 4.0, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The tablet also comes with 3G connectivity, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 3.5mm audio jack, micro HDMI port, micro -SD card slot, USB2.0 port (on dock) and SD Card Reader (on dock).

Considering the included dock and 3G connectivity, the tablet pricing does not seem that crazy as Samsung is also selling Galaxy Note 800 at INR 39,990 with just S-Pen as an included accessory.

Transfomer Pad TF300TG is the third quad-core tablet to be launched in India; other two are Samsung’s Galaxy Note 800 and Transformer Prime.

So, is any of you thinking to go for it?

  1. I did go around Bombay asking for these. They’re not available anywhere! I would really like to try the Transformer and compare with the Note 10.1 before buying one. Any idea on the availability?
