Samsung has started selling its portrait QWRTY Android smartphone Galaxy Chat in the country. The smartphone was spotted on Saholic.com by one of our readers and has been priced at INR 8,499.

Originally announced in July, the Samsung Galaxy Chat features 3-inch display, 850MHz processor, Android 4.0, 2MP camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 1200 mAh battery. It also comes with a dedicated button for company’s ChatON messenger.

Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSD card support, and FM radio.

The Samsung Galaxy Chat also comes preloaded with Game Hub. Game Hub is pre-packed with the most popular social games, providing endless entertainment. Samsung’s AllShare Play allows you to play multimedia from or to other connected devices. For added productivity, the Quick Office application offers easy viewing and editing of a wide range of Office documents, enabling you to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. In addition, Samsung’s S Planner app allows you to manage your schedule in an easy and intuitive way.

  1. I saw this finally on Samsung India website. They say there are two colors : – Black, Pink.

    Saholic.com has just Black and White. No pink. Samsung India Estore has no product listed yet. On Flipkart, a black Galaxy Chat is currently out of stock.

    Funny. Price is approximately 8500 Rupees. Both companies, Indian branches know nothing about this product.
