teracom-lofty-tab-mtnlLooks like BSNL’s launch of Android tablets has made MTNL think the same way and the state-run telecom operator has announced the launch of three tablets on its network.

Manufactured by Teracom (a name never that I have never heard), these tablets are Lofty Tab TZ100, Lofty TabTZ200 and Lofty Tab TZ300. According to MTNL, the tablets will go on sale starting Sep 3 across Sanchar Haats across Delhi apart from the Teracom stores.

Teracom also noted that it plans to make the tablets available at more than 500 retail outlets.

MTNL will also be bundling a special data offer of 10 GB 3G data usage valid for 2 months from MTNL Delhi with each of the above Teracom tablets.

“In partnership with MTNL, we are launching three models of ‘Lofty’ tablet with high-end model priced at Rs 10,999 and entry level model is for Rs 3,999,” Teracom Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Arora told media at the launch.teracom-lofty-tab-mtnl_1

  1. i think all the tablet manufacture should drop the idea of having resistive touch in their tablet .

Lofty Tab TZ300 looks promising but that resistive touch is keeping me away from it !

  2. This new launches MTNL Tabs, can we use as mobile phone. like incoming- out going calls by SIM cards ??
