It did not take very long for the first images of LG Optimus G to hit the web, this so-called second-gen quad-core smartphone (dubbed by LG) will be powered by the Qualcomm’s new S4 Pro processor and is expected to be officially revealed at IFA trade fair.

The smartphone has been reported to arrive in South Korea next month with global availability in October.

AndroidMX, which got hold of the pre-release unit, has also confirmed the previous leaked specs – 4.7-inch IPS HD display with 1280x768p resolution, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

To be known as model number LG E973, the smartphone was also teased by the company in a video recently. Check it out below.
