Verizon has announced that it will be exclusively retailing Samsung’s Honeycomb tablet Galaxy Tab 7.7 in the United States. According to a press note issued today, consumers will be able to grab the tablet from Verizon stores and its website from March 1.

Part of Samsung Galaxy series of tabs, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and Android 3.2. It also comes with LTE connectivity, a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM and two megapixel front-facing camera for video chat.

Verizon Wireless has priced it at $499 with the usual two year data agreement. The cheapest LTE data package is available for $30 a month. Telco isn’t only targeting normal customers with the tablet but also enterprise users and has equipped it with host of security and business-friendly features.
