LG has announced the successor to Optimus 3D today in the form of Optimus 3D Cube. It will be released in South Korea in partnership with SK Telecom next month for 847,000won ($753). LG has not revealed the details of the international version so-far.

The specifications of the smartphone are in-line with what we had seen in the various leaks – 4.3-inch 3D IPS display, 1.2GHz dual core processor, dual 5MP cameras, 16GB internal storage, and a 1520mAh battery. 3D Cube runs on Android 2.3 and will come with NFC hardware with support for LG Tag Plus technology.

LG has pre-loaded a 3D video editing, 3D mapping apps on the phone. Consumers will be able to download more from LG Smart World.
